This is the Paul Splittorff video tribute that was played before Monday's game in Kansas City. I am too young to remember Paul Splittorff the pitcher, but instead grew up watching him on TV as a broadcaster for the Royals and Big 12 basketball. I am amazed at his strength and resolve as he was broadcasting games right up until his death from cancer. It was tough to tune in and see his body and voice deteriorating, but also inspiring as he refused to stop living.
